Our art department does more than basic clipart and typesetting. We prepare artwork specifically for apparel, including logo cleanup, illustration, color separation, photo retouching and production files for screen printing, embroidery and digital printing.
Artwork that looks good on a screen does not always print well on fabric. Garment color, ink coverage, line weight and small details all affect the result. We build and adjust artwork with the final printing method in mind so the design is ready for production before it reaches the press.
If your artwork is rough, low resolution or not ready for apparel, send us what you have. We can usually tell you what needs to be fixed before production.

Concept
This project started with a simple discussion about the look the client wanted for a concert merchandise shirt. From there, we worked out the concept and planned the artwork around a three-color screen print on a black shirt.

We built a quick visual so the client could see the direction before production. The supplied photos were cleaned up and incorporated into a production-ready three-color screen-printing file.

Killer tee shirt logos
We use Apple Macintosh computer systems to create custom shirts. These are completely compatible with any graphics files in any format from any computer systems running any OS like Unix, Lines, BE, Mac, OSX and Even Microsoft’s Windows… as long as the file format is in a standard computer graphics extension.
This means we can use files like, jpeg, gif, png, eps, ai, swf, pdf . We cannot open or use files given a file extension from software we do not have or use….. this has only been an issue for people creating artwork , logos and layouts in Microsoft Publisher… In short, we do not have Publisher software and therefore cannot open or use . Pub files! In short, Microsoft Word should we used for words only, text and letters. It is not an art, or layout program!
In most cases, our trained staff can create a custom tee shirt image in less time then most people can compile clip art. It is usually more cost effective to come speak to our staff about creating a custom logo then to pay them to correct a file that is incorrect.
Another common mistake when supplying your own custom artwork is to attempt to do graphics in Adobe Photoshop. Much like with the program Word being for words, Photoshop is for photographs and photographic type works. Attempting to mix type or typography with halftones or doing solid image like those in logos will have disastrous affects!

Ink mixing with the garment and other inks can be used as a color theory to enhance the image on the shirt.
